Fences are the consumate sellers of goods. They are real smooth
operators, classy, mobster type slick guys. They use the
connive skill in their trade. Fences also know about the secret
back rooms that most shopkeepers have. This allows fences to
trade while invis or hidden.
This being said, the social stat is very important to them.
